The flavor takes the company’s soft-roasted pecans and coats them in a whiskey-infused salted caramel. It’s sweet and a little salty, with a buttery finish and a hint of warmth from the whiskey. Because the pecans are soft-roasted rather than crunchy, they come across more like a dessert than a typical bag of snacking nuts.
That was the idea. Most flavored nuts go crisp and savory, so the company wanted something on the sweeter, richer side for people looking for an after-dinner treat or a gift.
